Should I Blog for SEO?

Everyone is jumping on the blog bandwagon or talking about WordPress. Should you have a blog for SEO? Definitely get a blog, and make announcements on interesting things going on in the business such as new products, anniversaries, trade show appearances and so on. This should not be “I’m sitting on the patio” stuff. Keep it relevant to your business.

However, you should not be blogging only because you are trying to get SEO hits to your website. Yes, you should have relevant keywords in your blog title and in your posts, but do not blog for the sake of submitting ‘keyword rich’ content.
